Previously played on Waitangi Day, this year State Of Origin will be played on the afternoon of Friday Feb 9 commencing at 1.30pm.

For those new to the club, this is a Single Entry, fun tournament where we ask for your Province or Country (if not born in NZ) of birth & you are put into teams to represent them, It’s an enjoyable afternoon of bowls with pride at stake rather than prize money!! There is a Chinese Buffet style dinner to follow. Partners are very welcome to join us.

Entry fee is $5 to play & $15 pp for dinner.

You can enter the tournament online or on the sheets on the white board just inside the main clubroom door. You can advise if staying on for dinner on the day, as you pay your entry fee.

Perfect opportunity for some of our newer members to come along and meet some of the “oldies” So come along & join us. Dress code is mufti but preferably with some reference to the Province or Country of your birth.
