The plan was to use a grooving machine on Friday to prepare the Knightsbridge green for seeding, however Hamish and Brendan Kelly have decided the ground is too wet for the machine.

This now necessitates an URGENT working bee at the club tomorrow, Saturday 13 August at 9:00an to approx 11:00 am for light raking.  Needed are people and metal rakes (bring your own rake)

Here is the message form Brian Rogers.
“Today they were going to use the grooving machine but due to all the rain the soil is too soft for the groover. We need about 9 people with their own metal rakes for a SOS working bee at virtually no notice for a couple of hours to slightly break up the soil sort of fluff it up. It is planned to meet at 9am finished by 11am tomorrow Saturday It is not physically hard work the more people who can assist the sooner it will be finished and sowing can start.”

Brian will be there at 8-45 to coordinate.
