An amazing turnout of 28 bowlers turned up for a sunny Club Day today.
We played 3 games of 3 bowl pairs with the odd twist, including one end each game which was Jack Last (i.e. reverse order of play), rules being as follows: Bowls are played in reverse order by skip first (who then goes to head) and lead last. All team members deliver their bowls as directed by the skip then the lead puts down the jack. If the jack goes in the ditch or out of bounds the other lead delivers the jack. It was a challenge, but fun!!
