Last Saturday the final for the Men’s champ triples was resumed.

The expected rain stayed away but not the wind.

Ian Coombe, Brian Rogers and John Valentine were leading Murray Radojkovich, Barry McCrystal and Steve McGregor 17-5 after 11 ends when play was stopped due to rain.

A 3 on the twelfth end took the Coombe team to 20-5.

Murray’s team grabbed a 1 and a 2 on the next two ends, now 20-8.

A 3 and then a 1 on the next two ends gave the Coombe team an unassailable lead, 24-8 and the game was stopped with two ends to play.

Congratulations to Ian Coombe, Brian Rogers and John Valentine.

Another game that was unfinished, was the Men’s Handicap pairs.

Steve McGregor and Steve Bartley led David Lloydd and Graeme McGregor 16-7 when play was stopped due to rain.

That game resumed on Friday the 12th with the two Steve’s taking the victory 26-8.

They will now play David Payne and Barry Baillie in the final to be played on Friday 2nd of January.

David and Barry are the defending champions.
