Despite more club Champs being played a good field of 18 turned up for the haggle. The weather was fine and warm and due to the number 6 teams of 3 competed in 3 rounds of three bowl triples.

There were no three winners and a close battle for the minor places.

2nd – Pat Clarke, John Smith & Graham Ward 2W 12E

3rd – Peter Orgias, Norm Clarke & Guy Russell 2W 10E

Unlucky 4th (no prize) team of Kevin Robertson, Ian McGovern & Lance Govender 2W 9E, pipped by one end then got lucky and took out the lucky dip.
