The penultimate summer triples event was played on 7 May in reasonably warm but windy conditions between 18 teams. As is normal some games ended up very close while others were not so close.

On the day there was one 4 winner and three 3 winners but with only three prizes being available, one of these missed out.  The unlucky team was Irene Donaldson, Barry McCrystal and Rosemary Nicol. It was not their day as they also missed out on the Daily prize by 1 point.
