The usual 18 team field competed in the Triples event held on Thursday 23 July in conditions that ranged from sunshine, cloudy conditions, minimal wind and, just as we finished, some rain. However all enjoyed the day and it was good to complete it before the adverse weather set in.

There were two 4 winners and four 3 winners so unfortunately three teams in the latter category missed out on the major prizes.

The results of the day were:

2nd  Elaine McClintock/Murray Mathieson/Connie Mathieson 4 wins 34 ends 70 points

3rd  Irene Donaldson/Barry McCrystal/Rosemary Nicol 3 wins 29 ends 61 points

10th David Lloydd/Arthur Beale/Bill Lowe 1 1/2 wins 22 ends 38 points
