Bowls North Harbour is a progressive organisation co-ordinating and
administering bowls activities for the twenty clubs in the North Shore
area. The sport is served by a voluntary Board elected at the annual
meeting of club delegates and has appointed a part-time Secretary/Events
Manager who manages the day to day operations of the centre.
The treasurer activities are currently undertaken on a part time basis
and remunerated on a basis of five hours per week.
A job description is attached. This position would ideally suit someone
with knowledge of MYOB accounting, although this is not essential as the
system is easy to use, and who desires to give back to the sport in a
partly remunerated/volunteer way. Any management skills would be
suitable to the role.
The Centre office is located in Orewa, but it is envisaged most of this
treasury work would be carried out from your own home as the system is
accessed from any computer on the internet.
