Hi Everyone,
We have reached finals night which thanks to you all is the culmination of another successful round. We hope that you have all enjoyed yourselves and there is one more night of excitement to go !!! The results sheet sorted by finishing order is attached.
Fortunately my arithmetic (or is it maths these days) was correct and the top 4 are as announced this evening. Dolls with Bowls, Bowling Besties, Guacabowly and Young at Heart in that order. For the trophy on finals night 1st will play 4th and 2nd will play 3rd , then winners play winners for 1st and 2nd and losers play off for 3rd and 4th.
The remaining teams play a round robin in the bowl and the plate. I am still awaiting final confirmation as to who is playing so cannot confirm who is in which section at this stage. Suffice to say that it is based on finishing order and likely to be (after the top 4) the next 8 in the bowl and the next 10 in the plate.
On behalf of the club thank you all for being such good sports and making the league a pleasure to run. Our club is very much part of the Bays community and we wish at all times to integrate as best we can. Spread the word we always are looking for new participants.
Finals night next week is $40 per team (please pay me on the night) and everyone wins a prize.
Besides the BBQ we have as always on finals night: fruit and ice cream desert!

When I sorted the results sheet tonight I did not include the column which listed tonight’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place getters so they are listed incorrectly.
The winners tonight know who they are even if the rest of you don’t.
