The following is from Auckland Transport advising that there is a public feedback opportunity this coming Monday between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the club house.

If you have an opinion regarding the proposed bus lane, this is your opportunity to express it to Auckland Transport.

Recently, we requested your feedback on proposed changes to Ramsgate Terrace but had to postpone the public drop-in session due to COVID-19 restrictions. As restrictions have now eased to level 1, we are able to hold the public drop-in session for this project. The public drop-in session will now be held:

Monday 9 November, 3pm-8pm
Mairangi Bowling Club, 13 Ramsgate Terrace

Proposal overview
· A northbound bus lane operating 4pm-7pm weekdays.
· Changes to bus stops and shelters, these directly affect properties at 3 (Countdown), 6, 7 and 12 Ramsgate Road.
· A new signalised pedestrian crossing.
The resurfacing and widening of the footpath heading down the hill between 8 and 10 Ramsgate Terrace. The steps down the same hill are proposed to be removed.
· Removal of on-street parking at various locations and during the operation of the bus lane.
