The following is from Auckland Transport advising that there is a public feedback opportunity this coming Monday between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the club house.
If you have an opinion regarding the proposed bus lane, this is your opportunity to express it to Auckland Transport.
Recently, we requested your feedback on proposed changes to Ramsgate Terrace but had to postpone the public drop-in session due to COVID-19 restrictions. As restrictions have now eased to level 1, we are able to hold the public drop-in session for this project. The public drop-in session will now be held:
Monday 9 November, 3pm-8pm
Mairangi Bowling Club, 13 Ramsgate Terrace
You can still tell us what you think
The public feedback period has been extended and will remain open until Sunday 15 November 2020. Here’s how you can have your say:
Online Survey: AT.govt.nz/haveyoursay
· A northbound bus lane operating 4pm-7pm weekdays.
· Changes to bus stops and shelters, these directly affect properties at 3 (Countdown), 6, 7 and 12 Ramsgate Road.
· A new signalised pedestrian crossing.
The resurfacing and widening of the footpath heading down the hill between 8 and 10 Ramsgate Terrace. The steps down the same hill are proposed to be removed.
· Removal of on-street parking at various locations and during the operation of the bus lane.

You may receive two notifications
To ensure that we notified as many people as possible that could be interested in this project we have sent letters to the wider community and also directly notified anyone who has provided feedback so far. This may mean some people are notified twice.
