At an extremely busy Mairangi Bay Bowls Club today, amidst Club Championships for men’s and women’s triples and the Fishing Club weigh-in and corporate “do,” 18 hagglers endured the heat of the carpet green and played 3 games of 3 bowl triples with results as follows:
1. Norm Clarke, Bruce Davies and Graham Ward 2 Wins, 11 ends and 15 – 12 points
2. John Gledhill, Rhonda Dredge and Craig Hughes 2 Wins, 11 ends and 14 – 8 points
3. Ian McGovern, Enid Di Cesare and Joseph Thompson 2 Wins, 9 ends and 15 – 12 points
