On Sunday the 12th July on a nice fine but cool day we completed the Jnr 1-5 Mens Singles with our 4 qualifiers from a couple of weeks ago.

David Payne v Garth Partridge and Kevin Robertson v Allan Langley.

David was too strong for Garth and won 21-5 and Allan ran out the winner over Kevin 21-14.

In the final David gained the upper hand after a close start and won 21-12 over Allan.

So David will be our rep at the Centre Champ of Champs 25/26 July along with Gaye Horne who won the Women’s title
