Thirty teams of pairs contested the tournament on a hot and humid day. Phil Collins would have described it as “Another day in Paradise” particularly when the alternative was to go to work!

There were no four winners. First with 3.5 wins were Leon Wech and Bevyn Darlington . Second with 3 wins and 29 ends were Phil Chisholm and Ian Hardy. Third with 3 wins and 28 ends were Irene Donaldson and Lorna Donald, fourth: Elaine McClintock and Kerin Roberts, 3 wins and 28 ends and in 20^th place were John and Maxe Janssen from Birkenhead with 2 wins and 21 ends.

The AM Prize went to Wayne Glogoski and Ricky Markovina while the PM Prize was won by Colin Rogan and Bruce McClintock

Lucky Dips went to Barry Baillie & Graeme McGregor and Tony Trent & George Jones.
