It was a good day for bowls, with lots of sun and only light winds, a lovely day for bowls with 18 teams playing.

We had only one team with 4 wins – Elaine McClintock, Evan Thomas and Connie Matheson with 4 wins, 27 ends and 55 points.
Second was Lindsay Gilmore, Gordon Jenkins and Bruce McClintock with 3 1/2  wins, 26 ends and 57 points.
Third was Larry Cain, Jan Gledhill and David Payne with 3 1/2 wins also but, 25 ends and 55 points.
Tenth was David Lloydd, John Lindsay and Bill Lowe with 2 wins, 21 ends and 38 points.
The Daily Prize with 2 wins in the afternoon – 18 ends and 42 points went to Ian Glogoski, Janette and Louis Cooper from Browns Bay.

The Lucky Dip went to Roger Potter,Tony Stanaway and Graham Ward.
