The first round of Pennants in east zone was played last Friday at Mairangi Bay.

Four clubs that are in the east zone are, Takapuna, Milford, Browns Bay and Mairangi Bay.

The next two Fridays will be played at Milford followed by Takapuna.

All teams will play each other twice with the winner of each of the four zones, going on to the finals on Friday 31st at Browns Bay.

Three triples teams make a side and each side must include at least three men and three women.

A great start for Mairangi Bay in round 1 with a 8-2 win over Browns Bay, 2 wins and one loss and also winning the differential.

In round 2 they played Milford with all three teams winning, to win the maximum 10 points.

Well done to the Mairangi Bay Sharks, this Friday they play at Milford starting at 10.00am.

One change to the team with Barry Baillie having to pull out, replaced by Colleen Rice.
