It was a lovely and very hot day on Sunday for the Pizza Fun Day. This was a chance to bring in some of our keen business house players and it was great to see the response with 5 out of 12 teams from the business house competition.

We had 47 players, 57 pizza eaters afterwards and 24 pizzas. There was just 3/4 of one pizza left. John and Caryl Miles made a guest appearance.

We played business house style “Fast Bowls” which was something new for many of the “club” bowlers. Given the heat many welcomed only playing every 2nd end and not having to walk up the other end! Three games of 45 minutes and a short break for the bar between the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

4th – Julie Chhour, Muy Choour, Pat Clarke & Norm Clarke 2W 20E 34pts
