B] SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
You should have received notification of a Special General Meeting to be held in the clubrooms on Saturday, 28 April commencing at 9.00am.
I hope many of you will be able to attend as the items on the agenda require voting on by members. I look forward to a good turnout for this important meeting.

C] RENOVATION OF MAYFAIR GREEN
Hamish will be starting the winter renovation of greens commencing with the coring of Mayfair Green on the morning of Saturday, 28 April. [Hamish was not aware of the SGM that morning].  Following the SGM Hamish would appreciate the assistance of about 8-10 men to pick up the corings so if you can possibly help please let Allan Langley know so he can compile a list of helpers. The machine Hamish will be using is fast and the job should be all completed by lunchtime so bring some work clothes and change into after the SGM !!

D]  END  OF SUMMER SEASON SOCIAL GATHERING
We are having a function on Friday, 4 May in the clubrooms from around 5.00 to 7.30ish. Keith Berman and his trio will be providing some music and Jo and Kara will greet you with a glass of bubbly. I hope many of you will be able to attend and enjoy another pleasant gathering similar to those we have had in the past.

E]  CLOSING DAY AND PRIZEGIVING This is on Friday, 11 May commencing at 1.00pm with two short games of bowls [weather permitting] until around 3.00pm followed by afternoon tea the prizegiving.  It would be nice to see a good attendance. Please bring a PLATE FOR AFTERNOON TEA. In the event of no bowling due to weather, please come at 3.00pm with your plate for afternoon tea and the prizegiving!
Cheers for now. Bruce.
