Hello Members  

Just a few things to keep you informed of recent happenings.  

A]  NEW MEMBERS
I am pleased to welcome two new members:
John Ingle.  John is a new bowler and we wish him well on the green
Dave McMurchy.  Dave was a member of Browns Bay for many years and is well known in bowling circles.  

B]  CAMPBELL GREEN
The project of replacing the carpet is advancing well. This week we had confirmation of two successful grant applications [from Auckland Council and NZ Community Trust],  which brings total grants received to $70,000. We still have a further three grant applications being considered and we are hoping for some more success with these.

The programme is that the old carpet will be taken up mid-December which will then allow the base to be checked out for drainage etc and any preparation work to be assessed. That should begin in January and the project is scheduled to be fully completed by the end of February.  

C] ENTRY FEES
This was mentioned in an earlier newsletter. Just to remind you that entry fee for all-day tournaments and club championships is now $10.
