Sixteen teams enjoyed a beautiful day of two bowl triples. Certainly couldn’t blame the weather or the green for wayward bowls.

There was only one four winner so first prize went to Evan Thomas, Bevan Smith and Ian Hardy.
Second prize went to David Lloydd, Tony James and Bill Lowe, with three wins and a draw.
Third place was closely fought between three teams, one with two wins and two draws, and two with three wins. Both of these three winner teams had 30 ends, so it came down to points for. One of these teams had 52 points, the other 57 points, third place going to Lindsay Gilmore, Colin Rogan and Bruce McClintock.

In the contest for the daily prize for the best two consecutive wins, there were three contenders, the best of them being Elaine McClintock, Grant Keats and Judi Farkash with 17 ends in those two games.

Lucky dips were won by the teams of Russell Parkinson, Louise Ball and Annie McGrath, and Larry Cain, Sheryl Wellington and Stuart Jamieson.
As usual, thanks to all those who helped in the many ways that are necessary to share the workload and make the day enjoyable and successful for everyone.

Only two more summer season triples before the winter season starts.
