The weather forced a change to the format which was originally to be a pairs competition.  Great creativity by Sandra and David resulted on a fours competition on the Harcourt Community carpet green with all 9 rinks being used.

The pairs teams were combined by a blind draw to determine the fours combinations.

There was some dought that any play would be possible as the forecast was for further rain throughout the day, however, with the games reduced to 8 ends, all four games were completed, and so too were the morning tea and lunch breaks.  All in all a good day of bowls under trying circumstances.

Congratulation to the team of John Gledhill, Murray Mathieson, Jo Baxter and Connie Mathieson – the only team to manage four wins.
