Jo had a close game against Lorna, winning with 17-15, picking up a 2 in the last end. Another exciting game!
In the third round Elaine and Sheryl’s team both had comfortable wins, making them the finalists, with the final played on the Sunday.
With threats of bad weather, play started at 9.30. In a very even game, where the lead changed almost every end, it was 14-12 to Elaine after 14 ends. Then Sheryl picked up a 3, and a couple of singles. With a 2 for Elaine in the last end, unfortunately that wasn’t enough. A fantastic game, so exciting, and, I forgot to mention that the last third of the game was played in pouring rain! What troopers!!
Bad luck for Elaine, Kerin and Theresa!
Congratulations to Sheryl, Jan and Colleen!
