The Women’s Singles Championship was played on Sunday the 16th January 2022. The weather gods were on our side, with a bit of breeze, although it did get quite hot in the end.
There were only 6 entries, Colleen, Flora, Gaye, Judi, Rosemary and Theresa, but that didn’t stop some great play. In the end it was Theresa, Judi and Colleen, who could do no wrong, that qualified. Flora and Rosemary, our youngest 1 t0 5 year bowlers, put out a lot of great shots and fought well.
I can only hope that we will get more entries next year.
