I have received the email below from Amanda (Pearse) advising that a service for David will be held on Saturday September 12, which unfortunately coincides with our Opening Day. I have advised Amanda of the conflict & she understands that that will make it difficult for anyone wishing to attend. She would however appreciate any written words about David if those who knew David could come up with something.

We are having a small informal gathering on Saturday the 12th September at 11am at my siters house at 1491 Ahuroa Road. It is open to anyone that would like to attend but we understand that it could be too far for a lot of people to drive to? If anyone would like to write something about David or tell a story we would love to read these out. I queried Amanda as to where Ahuroa Road was.  Her reply: It’s sort of between Puhoi and Warkworth if people don’t want windy roads is probably better to go the Warkworth way. If you just give them the address 1491 Ahuroa Road and they can decide which way they want to come?
