Despite the rain & wind battering the rest of the country we were able to play all three games of the penultimate round of Silverfin 5’s with only the slightest hint of a light shower threatening.

We had 2  teams with 6 wins with Elaine, Bruce, Kerin. Colin & Phil with 54 ends nudging Ian, Colleen, Irene, Annie & Sandra into second place as they had 47 ends. In 3rd place with 5 1/2 wins were Peter, Jeanette, Mike Jelley, Gordon & Allan Langley. Fourth place with 5 wins were Jan Harrison, Maureen & Walter, Kathy & Warren.   Alex & Tyler from Silverfin Capital were on hand to present the prizes & Tyler reiterated their intention to continue sponsoring Silverfin 5’s.

An added bonus for the day was a very welcome morning tea provided by Alden, Rosedale Village. Karen & Sharon were on hand to speak to our members & promote their village on Rosedale Road.
