With the threat of an “atmospheric river” due to arrive around lunch time the decision was made to play 3 games of 1 hour or 10 ends, back to back in the hope of getting through before the threatened weather descended upon us.  This was achieved, much to the Organisers relief and we finished play around 12.25pm. The Sponsors were able to reorganise their day & Jess Stewart, CFO & Alex Browne, Silverfin Compliance Officer were on hand to give out the prizes.

First Prize went to Elaine & Bruce McClintock, Kerin Roberts, Phil Chisholm & Wendy Jensen. The only team to have 6 wins.                                                                                                                                                      In second place with 5 wins & 36 ends were Stuart Jamieson, Larry Cain, Tony Trent,  Steve McGregor & Joy Watkinson.                                                                                                                                                Coming in at 3rd place, also with 5 wins but 33 ends were Jan Harrison, Maureen & Walter Howden, Kathy Stevens & Warren Seque.                                                                                                                        Fourth place getters were Peter & Jeanette Orgias, Allan Langley, Gordon Jenkins & Michael Jelley with 4 wins & 34 ends & 72 points, beating out the Daniels team who also had 4 wins & 34 ends but only 52 points.                                                                                                                                                                        Lucky dip went to Bruce Aley’s team.
