On another glorious autumn day with no wind but plenty of sunshine, a full field of 18 teams enjoyed the customary tough competition in our Thursday Triples event on 19 June. Once again with entries exceeding the maximum number that can be accommodated it was necessary to ballot out 3 teams although some of those who had been balloted were able to be invited to play with other teams.  To date there have been 12 teams balloted which, if entries continue at the current level, could mean that some teams may have a second ballot before the end of the winter season.

No team had 4 wins for the day so the prize money was shared by the teams having three wins determined on ends won.  Results were:

3^rd        Tony Trent, Lorna Donald, Bruce Aley                        3 wins 25 ends
