On Sunny morning 18 teams took to the carpet green. A late withdrawal meant one team was reduced to two players but, in a spirit of co-operation, bowlers ensured there were no problems.

The weather forecast was for a deterioration during the afternoon and, for once, the forecasters were correct with a heavy downpour during the fourth game. It passed and the day was completed.

First were Jan Gledhill, Jodie Cottier and David Payne with 4 Wins, 29 Ends and 60 points

Second were Elaine McClintock, Lindsay Gilmore and Bruce McClintock with 3 ½ Wins, 28 Ends and 69 Points.

Third were Sheryl Wellington, Bruce Aley and John Gledhill with 3 Wins, 30 Ends and 55 Points

The Daily Prize (for coming 8^th) went to George Durbridge, Louise Ball and Glyn Taylor
