Open Pairs A/C — Sponsored by: Forrest Funeral Services
A grey morning brightened into a lovely day with occasional light drizzle. Unfortunately, Bruce Aley tripped and fell, suffering a couple of gashes to his left shin. Theresa Rogers was knocked backwards against the angle iron stantion, bruising her back and leaving her with sore ribs. We wish them both a speedy recovery. Thank you very much to Christine Tordeich who applied her First Aid knowledge to patch up Bruce before Helen took him to Shore Care.
We had a field of 30 teams.

A big thank-you to Leon Wech for setting up the green and running the raffles. Thanks also to Baz, Rosemary, Hanaan and Louise for cleaning up the kitchen, and to Graeme Storey for looking after the bar. We really appreciate your help!
And a special thanks to Steve McGregor for helping and showing me the duties of match convenor!
Our best wishes to Bruce Aley and Theresa Rogers for a smooth and speedy recovery.
