It was a case of “famous last words” that suggested we might get all 8 out of 8 sessions completed, but Lockdown struck again and the 24 August session is not going to happen.

From the beginning of the Winter Club Days, the committee had decided that if bowlers turned up over 5 times, then they would get some bonus points. That bonus was 3 points to be added to their total for the 7 sessions.

The final results are as follows:

Winner: Louise Ball 49 points.

Runner Ups: Jim Center 47 points and Sherril Watson 45 points.

Congratulations to all 3 bowlers for a very close result.

Many thanks to all who participated and enjoyed the chance to play some winter bowls (with no pressure).
