A field of 12 participated in Saturday’s mini-tournament.  The idea is to provide a variation to the format that has been the norm recently and all those who attended said that they really enjoyed mixing with club members who have not participated in the 2/4/2.  The format varies depending on the number of participants.  This week, each round consisted of a game of three bowl triples.

Despite the small numbers, an enjoyable time was had by all & it was particularly pleasing to be playing without fighting either wind or rain!!

The event was won by Russell Parkinson with 20 points & 9 ends.
Second was Sandra Coombe with 17 points & 12 ends & third place went to Steve McGregor with 15 points & 6 ends. 

The next Saturday Half Day is November 25th and we would encourage you to take part and make this an integral part of the club’s events calendar.  It’s fun with a touch of competition and not too onerous as it is three quick games.
