Weekly Reminder – 31st August 2021

1. COVID LOCKDOWN
Due to Auckland being in Lockdown Level 4 for at least the next two weeks the centre has made the following decisions and provided some information

  1. The Centre will open on the 5th September and the season will start from that date
  2. All tournaments in the calendar in September are cancelled and refunds will be sent to those who have entered and paid
    1. The Exec Fours
    2. The Mixed 2-4-2
    3. The Ivan Kostanich Premier Singles
  3. The Rep fixture against Waikato on 12th September is cancelled
  4. Covid 19 Support – On the IRD website you will find details of the Resurgence Support Payment (RSP) and the Wage Subsidy August 2021 which is available to assist businesses and organisations during this change in Covid 19 alert levels. Clubs may wish to check these two avenues to see if they qualify for any support from Government during this lockdown period. Please pass this onto your club Treasurer

    The Center opening date will be the 5th September.
    The handbooks will be distributed as soon as we are able to get them from the printers and get them to your club. The printers are only able to print them when we get to level 3

    MASTERS 2022
    Date of tournament: 14th to 18th February 2022

    BOWLS NEW ZEALAND AFFILIATION FEE

    For the information of clubs, the Bowls NZ affiliation fee for the 2021/2022 season will be increased by the CPI of 1.5%. This will be the amount increased on the payment amount made to Bowls NZ last season. Invoices for this affiliation fee will be sent directly to clubs by Bowls NZ.
